But if the saber hero that you’re attacking knows what they’re doing, you won’t survive the encounter. His abilities do allow him to roll out of a situation without taking much damage. In HVV all you can really do as Lando is be pesky. Occasionally you can use it to get out of tight situation, but other than that it doesn't have many uses. And his smoke grenade is more or less a useless ability. You just have to roll or jump away, which isn't that hard when the detination takes as long as it does for lando.

His shock grenade USED to be an amazing ability, however most people know how to counter it in this day and age. But when Lando isn’t dominating with his sharp shot, there isn’t much he can do. When used properly, it is one of the best abilities in the game. In large scale modes, his sharp shot can turn the tide. I think a lot of people underestimate Lando in large scale modes. It does pain me to rank Lando this low, but it sadly had to be done. Because of this I try to rarely play as Boba, because I don’t like playing defensively with blaster heroes. Whenever I try to play as him, I get 2018 flashbacks and play more defensively then I would with any other hero. But I have personally biases against Boba. The best Boba’s can go from the most aggressive players, to the most defensive players in a matter of seconds. Boba player’s nowadays will rely on all their abilities to get kills. With the target system long gone, Boba mains have needed a rebirth. Now, hvv reeks of a uninspired team deathmatch. However, due to complaints about these types of players (mostly) Dice removed the target system.

After all even after it got hit with a series of hard nerfs, it was one of the best abilities in the game. Boba did have a very good set of abilities that made it so that he could get kills this way. They would fly around and barley even shoot at the heroes that were chasing them. Half of the time they wouldn’t even try to get kills. When HVV had a target system, half of the matches would be ruined by Boba players who would fly around the map not getting touched. Two years ago, Boba would’ve ranked dead last on my list. This should prevent people from ganging up on a particular target, stealing an easy victory in the process. Now here is where things get interesting.
Ater the update, the first team to reach 25 eliminations within an HvV game will win the match. The mode will no longer end once a team reaches 10 points. With the new system in place, a point will be added to your team’s total elimination score any time you eliminate an opponent.
The goal of these new changes is to fix this problem, and ultimately, to make HvV as enjoyable as possible.ĭICE has completely reworked the targeting system for HvV in this month’s Battlefront 2 update. The mode in its current state encourages players to gang up on the target, making life difficult for anyone unlucky enough to be chosen. Fans (including me) had been voicing concerns for quite some time that the HvV mode was unbalanced. DICE has been receiving a ton of community feedback for Battlefront 2 lately, and it would appear that they are listening to it. A new community transmission has released for Star Wars Battlefront 2 detailing the upcoming changes that will arrive for the game’s Heroes vs.
